A Legacy in Diamonds

It began with an opportunity.

Adolph A-Link, the son of an Austrian bench jeweler, arrived in New York City in 1900 with the knowledge and artistry of European craftsmanship, but no position waiting for him.

He began by cleaning a jewelry workshop.

His dedication, curiosity, and natural talent soon caught the attention of the master jewelers, and he was given a place at the bench.

It was there, surrounded by skilled craftsmen and the energy of a city entering a new century, that Adolph refined his craft and began to shape his own vision.

The jewelry workshop, New York

From cleaning the benches to taking his place at one.

Within this workshop, Adolph absorbed the discipline of fine jewelry making and developed a deep understanding of how little metal was needed to allow a diamond to shine.

Working primarily with diamonds and platinum, he created necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings that celebrated the natural beauty of each stone.

Less is more.

The setting should never overpower the diamond. Craftsmanship should be felt before it is noticed.
